At UpWise Tech Limited HK, we value your privacy and your control over your personal data. This policy outlines the process for deleting your Knoa account and explains what information is permanently removed upon deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
You can request the permanent deletion of your account directly through the Knoa mobile application. Please follow these steps:
Open the Knoa app and ensure you are logged in.
Navigate to Settings (usually found in your profile tab).
Select the Delete Account option.
Follow the on-screen confirmations to complete the request.
Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Deleting your account is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Once the process is complete, all data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our servers, including but not limited to:
Personal Profile Information: Your name, email address, and any other profile details you provided.
Learning Data: Your course progress, completion history, streaks, and assessment results.
Saved Content: All bookmarks, highlights, and notes you have created.
Transaction History: Internal records of your subscription status and past purchases.
Important: Managing Third-Party Subscriptions
Please be aware that deleting your Knoa account within the app does not automatically cancel active subscriptions managed through third-party platforms like the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription directly through your device's App Store settings before or after deleting your Knoa account.
