This Privacy Policy explains how KNOA (the “App”) collects and processes personal data when you use our services (together, the “Services”).

KNOA is operated by UpWise Tech Limited (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU PROMISE THAT:

(i) you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy; and

(ii) you are 18 years of age or older.

If you do not agree, or cannot make this promise, you must not use the Services.

1) Personal Data We Collect

1.1 Data you provide

• Account data you choose to share (e.g., display name, preferences)

• Support communications (messages you send to us, and information you provide when contacting support)

1.2 Data we receive from Apple / Google sign-in (only)

KNOA supports only:

• Sign in with Apple

• Sign in with Google

When you sign in, we receive limited information such as:

• your name (if provided by Apple/Google)

• your email address (or Apple private relay email if you choose that option)

• a unique identifier from Apple/Google used to link your sign-in to your KNOA account

We do not receive your Apple ID or Google password.

1.3 Data collected automatically

• Device and app information (device type/model, operating system, app version, language)

• Usage data (e.g., lessons viewed, progress, session timestamps, in-app interactions)

• Diagnostics and logs (crash reports, performance data, error logs)

• Approximate location inferred from IP address (typically country/city level) for security and service operations

2) How We Use Personal Data

We process personal data to:

• Provide and operate the App (account access, content delivery, progress tracking)

• Authenticate you using Apple/Google sign-in

• Enable subscriptions and entitlements (confirm premium access)

• Improve and develop the App (debugging, performance, feature improvements)

• Provide customer support and respond to requests

• Protect the Services (security, fraud prevention, abuse detection)

• Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal data.

3) Subscriptions and Payments

KNOA is subscription-only. Payments are processed only by:

• Apple App Store (iOS), and/or

• Google Play Store (Android)

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Billing information is handled by Apple/Google under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may receive subscription status / entitlement information (e.g., whether your subscription is active) to provide premium access.

4) How We Share Personal Data

We may share personal data only as needed to operate KNOA, including with:

4.1 Service providers

We may use trusted vendors to help us run the App (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and customer support tooling). These providers are required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.

4.2 Apple and Google

Apple and Google process certain data as part of app distribution, sign-in, and subscription purchases.

4.3 Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

• comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request

• protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, and the Services

• prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

5) Your Choices and Rights

You can:

• manage Sign in with Apple / Google permissions in your Apple ID / Google Account settings

• manage notifications via your device settings

• request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us (see Section 9)

We will make reasonable efforts to honor valid requests, subject to legal and security requirements.

6) Age Limitation (18+)

KNOA is offered only to users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7) Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:

• provide the Services

• comply with legal obligations

• resolve disputes and enforce agreements

• maintain security and prevent fraud

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
